LAYING THE FOUNDATION

1993

Gitwe General Stores takes on a new name: Rongai Self Service Stores. The expansion has another one of the siblings joining the business, Linet Wairimu Mukuha.

THE FAMILY BUSINESS GETS REAL

1990

In 1990, the late Jorum Kamau founder of Tuskys supermarkets leaves one of his business premises in the rural town of Rongai, Nakuru to his nephews, David Kimani, and the late Simon Mukuha.
