JIPIT welcomes quality submissions of Articles, Case Commentaries, Legislative and Policy Commentaries as well as normative law articles, all must be on IP, IT or AI and the law. The call for submissions is open for only about three months. JIPIT implores authors to comply with the following rules:
- The referencing style is APA.
- All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 300 words detailing the general arguments and ideas contained in the essay.
- To qualify as an article submission must be between 10,000 and 25,000 words (including citations and bibliography). A case and legislative policy commentary are between 7,000 to 12,000 words (with citations and a bibliography).
- JIPIT only publishes exclusive submissions. For that reason, any work being submitted should not have been previously submitted for publishing or published in any other forum. However, theses and dissertations are eligible.
- JIPIT is committed to a culture of open access and as such, all published pieces will be available for free.
- On submission, attached to the manuscript should be a copy of the author’s information and the Declaration of Originality form appropriately filled.
