Strategic leadership is provided by a Board of highly experienced executive and non-executive directors from diverse backgrounds and industries.

Our breeder farms, hatcheries, and processing facilities are continually inspected and tested by the Government Veterinary Authorities in laboratory facilities locally and independent laboratories internationally.

Key accreditations for most of our processing plants include:

We have an ambitious and diverse team that is dedicated to delighting our customers. We are passionate about chicken and its positive impact on the families in our communities. We consistently deliver quality products from our farms to both the farms and dinner tables of our customers.

Environment

The Group is committed to environmental sustainability by driving efficiencies throughout the production value chain, minimising wastage in the process.

We are involved in a substantial tree planting project in Zambia, sowing 15,000 seedlings as part of the ‘PlantAMillion’ project.

We also support a number of projects to adopt renewable energy sources such as solar power.

Community

APD companies offer contract growing schemes for broilers, to create employment, empowering different groups in society: women, young people, and the vulnerable.

The Group supports education in marginalized areas, offering education scholarships to bright but financially challenged students in a variety of institutions.
